Hokkaido Marine Park

Visit a marine park today.

Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan

Look familiar, ya, the photo on the blog header. Hakodate night view is world top five most beautiful night scenery. Look like hourglass. The view really breathtaking. By the way, the wind is so strong and the weather are so cold on that night..... below 10 c.

The next morning we visited the Bay area where they sell all the seafood.


They sell fresh seafood. Lots of them. the photo below are all types of roe. Different type of fish.

and they eat it fresh...just like sashimi.

Shikotsu-Toya National Park - Noboribetsu

Today, we visit a national park. at Noboribetsu. I will take you to a volcano.... all the way down to a volcano.



We climb down to the volcano. All the way down. We see the danger sign along the way...too hot, do not touch, and away sign. smell soooooo sulfur.


I don't understand......

Volcano, a must see in Japan

On the way to another volcano, we stop at Asahi Factory. see the process of making the beer and of course by the end of the visit, we are serve super duper nice and chill Asahi beer.



Nearby the place, we stop at a seafood restaurant. The seafood is really fresh. the broth is only simple clear water with a seaweed.




we had hairy crab and salmon....and lots of veg and mushroom. Everything sooooo fresh


Half way, we stop at a rest area. Selling fruits and veg.And the toilet are really an eye opener. super duper clean and with heater.....impressive


we visit a bear farm.

Oh and the weather is around 12 to 15 C


They sell apple for us to feed the bear. Once you take out the apple : this happen





A tunnel for us to have a close watch of the bear. mmmm we look at them or they look at us?


Next, we climb to the top of the hill to have a walk "on" the volcano. below is the map

Another earthquake area. once earthquake the mountain exist over a night.


All the road gone...


Suddenly a big hole out of nowhere and the houses all collapsed


Another volcanic mountain: Everytime erupted, another "baby mountain" exist. Can you imagine how powerful is mother earth?


I don't understand. but my interpretation on the no.4 picture, once erupted, quadruplets (of mountain) are born.


why no plant....super hot....

Isn't volcano and earthquake amazing? My sympathy to all the people that went thru the earthquake......
