Taiwan's Snapshot

The eye of Taiwan.

I think is cute. Children toilet, everything is in mini size.

The bitter gourd is white color, in Malaysia, is green

Nice fresh milk

Chung-San Hall, Taiwan

Not really a tourist spot, cos the guy that bring us around was surprised to see us. Thanks to the taxi driver. No need to pay for ticket and every morning 10, there is a volunteer, to take us around and explain to us. Worth a visit.

Built on a volcanic area, the place smell like sulfer. All the paint on the building was sulfer-proof

On the way to the up,

View from the balcony. This hall is built on 100 ft x 100 ft. Everything about this hall is symmentrical

and everything is huge.

For more information about the hall, read more detail here

Tanshui Fisherman's Wharf, Taiwan

On the way to Yehliu, we drop by this place. Just a fisherman area, with lots of fisherman boat, of course the local product to shop and some cafes to fill up your stomach.

Nice view

They name the bridge, lovers bridge.

Just this view. If you are going somewhere else and pass by this area, then can drop by or else I think not much to see.

Satay Celup Ban Lee Siang, Melaka

I like this so much, the sauce to cook all the food is so special and yummy. Why called satay celup, I think is because you cook all the stuff in satay sauce.

Ban Lee Siang that located at Jalan Ong Kim Wee at Melaka. Better go early if you don't like to queue for a table, before 7pm.

Variety of food.

Every stick cost yout 50 sen and those with red paint in the end cost 60 sen.

If you are bringing your kids and they cannot take spicy food, can ask for water to wash away the sauce.

Yummy, i love it, should give it a try the next time you go to Melaka.

By the way, this shop is quite near to Jonker street.

Tangkak, Johor, Malaysia

Tangkak, a small town located at near to Melaka (about 45 minutes drive). Main attraction is the Gunung Ledang which is famous from the legend "Puteri Gunung Ledang"

There is a nice waterfall at Gunung Ledang, will post that later.

Tangkak also famous for the local food.
Once you reach there, you can see shops selling fabric everywhere, for dress or curtains and such in very affordable price

In the middle of the town you can see this little shop 1948, should try their local coffee. not bad

Bus and taxi station of the town.

more updates on the food to try next....

Jonker Walk, Melaka

Located in the heart of Melaka town, Jalan Hang Jebat. Located a night market named Jonker Walk. I have heard it from me friends for quite some times and now only I went there for a walk myself.

Find it quite different from others night market in KL town. The things that they marketed there, more to antique and hand made stuff. Lots of food stall and local most famous, pineapples tarts. And of course a lot of people.

You will know once you reach there as there will be traffic jam from 500 meter away, and you can see jonker walk signage everywhere.

1)
lots of MAMEE advertisement.

See, you will see jonker sign everywhere......

Nice and cosy restaurant everywhere, and lots of them served local delicacies which i find it quite interesting, I will give it a try on my next visit

There is a boutique hotel right directly at Jonker walk, very convenience Jonker boutique hotel

Look beautiful too....I didn't stay there, so I cannot comment on the hotel...

Saw this piggy-bank, which is not a piggy but a food. Look so real and beautiful

Transportation in Taipei, Taiwan

They are giving me NT 3,000 for 10 hours, Inclusive of petrol and of course the driver. Fetching you to everywhere even about 2 to 3 hours journey away from the town.
I quite like the Wish cos he gave us a handphone and we just call him whenever or wherever we want him to fetch. We do not need to walk back to the place he put us down. just mention the road name you are in and he will be there in less than 5 minutes.

And of course if you want to know the town better, talk to the taxi driver, ask him to take you to the food that is famous, where to shop, what place to visit and he even take me to local market to buy fruits.....

I got 2 contacts, one driving a Toyota Wish, can fit up to 6 people. Not much space storage at the back

And this one is a Toyota Altis, can fit 4 people. And you get a bigger storage at the back

Both at the same price......

Fireworks

While walking at Jonker Walk ,Melaka last weekend, encounter a fireworks right at the end if the walk. Am thinking that this is a great time for me to test my both camera. S90 and 450D (wanted to upgrade to 7D so badly). Yes both also from Canon.

S90 with special scene - Fireworks - with the setting of F/8 Exposure time 2 sec

450D - F/5.6 and exposure time 4/5 sec

F/16 exposure time 4/5 sec

Can you tell the different?
