Fireworks

While walking at Jonker Walk ,Melaka last weekend, encounter a fireworks right at the end if the walk. Am thinking that this is a great time for me to test my both camera. S90 and 450D (wanted to upgrade to 7D so badly). Yes both also from Canon.

S90 with special scene - Fireworks - with the setting of F/8 Exposure time 2 sec

450D - F/5.6 and exposure time 4/5 sec

F/16 exposure time 4/5 sec

Can you tell the different?

Polarizing Photography

On my way to south from Kuala Lumpur, wearing my polarized sun-glasses and this is how it look like. The reflection on the trees, rainbows, I see rainbows everywhere...yeah, I took my camera and filter it with my sunglasses

The below are with the real polarized-filter. Hoya CIR-Polarizing 72.0 s. According to them, this filter is to eliminates reflections from non-metallic surface such as water, glass etc....Also increase contract and color saturation. Perfect for sunny outdoor. see, you can never get to capture a cloud on the sky in a bright sunny day without a filter.
